Social Media Mistakes

I am so glad I have never got on any Social Network after drinking. This is probably one of the worst mistakes you could possibly make. I remember back in the day were people would have to worry about drunk dialing, that seems minuscule in comparison to nowadays. If you make one of these mistakes in today's era it could haunt you forever.
My coworker made this mistake when he got on Facebook late at night and decided to post about his interest of another one of my coworkers. I guess he must have forgotten about it or the word just spread fast or maybe everyone happened to be up late that night. He referred to her as his sweet little cupcake. You could only imagine the amount of cupcakes that we had in the break room the rest of the week. I think I gained five pounds that week.
Nevertheless mistakes like this can embarrass you for a long time if not forever and forever is a very long time. My coworkers mistake is something to learn from but is small in comparison to mistakes people have made on social networks that caused them to be plastered all over the Internet. Social networks are a direct reflection of what is going on in society. Employers are using them to find out if they should hire an employee. That alone should be reason enough to watch what you write.

Oh my....that pic is for sure a very solid reinstatement. and no doubt social media in its "black cloak" can be a real menace! Everything needs to be used in a limit..where it benefits , not starts backfiring the user.

People need to be responsible for their actions all of the time. Say you get drunk and accidentally murder someone. You can't expect to go free by listing all the really good things that you have ever done. Your whole life is judged by one moment!
A guy was in his junior year at University of Pennsylvania-- one of the top 10 colleges in the country. You have to be extemely brilliant to get into that college. So this guy celebrated is 21st birthday by drinking all these shots of whisky.
He was drunk and fell off a 2 story balconey and got brain damage. So the birthday present he gave himself transformed him from a brilliant guy into a guy with brain damage. It does not matter how many brilliant things that you do. Just one mistake and that could be it.
August 2011 Sandy Vietze got on the U.S. Ski team for the 2014 Winter Olympics. He got drunk before boarding the plane. He made national news by urinating on an 11 year old girl on the plane. He was kicked off the ski team.
